The grape variety, used to produce Rompesedas, is the Tinta de Toro, common to the Designation of Origin. This is the Tempranillo grape adapted to Region’s ecosystem. It has a blue-black color with uncolored flesh and today it is recognised as native to the area and distinct from the original grape. It enjoys oenological recognition for its production of fine wines and is distinguished by its power and wild fruit aromas.
